The Saguaro Cactus is one of the plants that defines the Arizona Desert. It takes fifty years for a Saguaro to grow its first arm. They can grow in excess of fifty feet in height and two feet in diameter, and they can last hundreds of years. Their bright white blossom is the state flower of Arizona.
