Authentic (Lakota) Sioux Pottery
Red Candle
Measuring just over 2" tall, and approximately 4" in diameter
at the largest part, this candle is handmade out of clay taken from the Black
Hills region of South Dakota by Lakota craftsmen. The candles are made by
filling the pot with white paraffin wax. Once the wax is burned out, you are
left with a wonderful small pot that can be easily refilled with a votive candle
or a tea light.
Each candle is a little different, so the designs carved into the side of your pot will vary a bit from the one shown to your left.
