Roy Rogers - The King of the Cowboys Roy Rogers played a vital role in keeping Cowboy Culture alive in America. Whether he was working with his Sons of the Pioneers or alongside his wife, Dale Evans, Roy was someone millions of people admired and looked up to. Roy starred in nearly 100 films. Roy and Dale ran both Radio and TV programs throughout the 1950s and 1960s, earning them the respective titles of King of the Cowboys and Queen of the West. Roy was elected twice to the Country Music Hall of Fame. This rare album features a lot of Roy's earlier work.
