Market Donkey #9
Ceramic Handpainted Donkey Sculpture

Though
they frequently don't get the credit they deserve, Donkeys and Burros were and
still are an important part of our West. Obviously, they're needed to produce
Mules, but it's much more than just that. Sturdier and cheaper to maintain than
horses, they were the "slow and steady" way to haul ore out of the
mines. When things finished up in Oatman, the Burros were turned out in the
town, and their famous, unhampered roaming of the streets draws people far and
wide to the little town North of us here in Wickenburg.
This particular Donkey is the Market Donkey style, measuring 7" tall and
6" wide.
