Eleven Wild Burros Shot North of Lake Pleasant

BLM Seeks Information Leading to Conviction - $5000 Reward

The federal Bureau of Land Management, Phoenix District, has stepped forward to offer a $5,000 reward for any information resulting in the conviction of the party or parties who shot and killed a total of eleven wild burros located north of Lake Pleasant. The downed animals included Jacks, Jennies, and newborns. The scene was discovered by OHV enthusiasts in the area and was officially confirmed February 24th. The carcasses were found just north of the Morgan City Wash.

Intentionally killing Wild Horses and Burros is a Federal Crime, punishable by fine and/or imprisonment.
