Once you listen to the Sons of the San Joaquin, it's easy to see why Roy Rogers was an early and enthusiastic supporter. Now the most popular Western performing group, the Sons of the San Joaquin have a harmonized sound that probably hasn't been heard since the old Sons of the Pioneers music.
One of their earlier albums, this collection features old time Western movie themes that have been given the once-over by the Hannah Boys. It's hard to not be impressed with the results.
