This 14 ounce stoneware mug contains art of Billy the Kid on each side of the handle, with a brief history of the famous outlaw opposite the handle. The text reads as follows:
Billy the Kid (1859-1881)
In legend he was described as a vicious and ruthless killer, an outlaw who died at the age of 21, not before raising havoc in the New Mexico territory. It was said he took the lives of 21 men, one for each year of his life. After breaking out of jail for a murder charge, he was killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett in Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
This sepia-toned tribute to the famous outlaw is dye-sub printed for superior durability, and the inside of the mugs are coated black for sharp contrast.
