About Golden Gate Western Hats
The
Golden Gate hat Company was founded by William Katz in 1923. Today, the Los
Angeles-based company is a mainstay in the hat business. If you have ever
watched "The Blues Brothers", "Wild Wild West", "The
Natural", "Titanic", or countless other movies, you have seen Golden
Gate hats in action.
Golden Gate is now a third-generation family business. They remain headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and they have no intention of sending their manufacturing offshore.

Measure the widest part of your head with a tape measure. Place the tape measure a finger width above the ear and bring it across the mid forehead, completely circling the head.
