Chilitoe
Here
in the Southwest, it isn't all that easy getting ahold of mistletoe. There's a
derivative that grows in Palo Verde trees, but it's not the same. To get around
this dilemma, we borrow a bit from Old Mexico and retool Chili ristras into a
sort of ornament, giving us the Chilitoe. This arrangement contains three wood
chili pepper cutouts bound together with raffia. They stand about four inches
tall, and come with a tie loop to hand on the wall or on your tree. Best of all,
they're handcrafted in the USA.
